Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez was granted temporary bail by a Delhi court on Monday in relation to her suspected role in the death of Aditi Singh.
Shivinder Singh, an ex-Fortis promoter, is accused of defrauding his wife of 200 crore rupees.
The primary defendant in the case is conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
Fernandez was granted temporary respite when interim bail was granted at a personal and surety bond of 50,000 by special judge Shailendra Malik.
Fernandez's attorney, Prashant Patil, stated in court that she has consistently cooperated with investigators.
He stated, "She has provided the ED with all the facts to the best of her abilities."
The actor was identified as a defendant in the charge sheet that was submitted on August 17 in the 200 crore extortion case.
